This SW60-DC is a low voltage switch disconnector dedicated to disconnection of the string of photovoltaic modules and the PV inverter. It has 2P pole. Its rated current is 50A at 1000VDC for a DC-21A utilization category. It can be mounted on DIN rail for modular installation. Its width is 8 modules of 9mm. It has an IP40 degree of protection (as per IEC/EN 60529) on its terminals in modular enclosure. It is designed to isolate the inverter from the rest of the photovoltaic installation for maintenance operations in complete safety. Its fast closing mechanism, independent of the speed of actuation of the toggle, improves its service life. The tripping or position indication functions are remotely provided by adding electrical auxiliaries. The presence of the green strip guarantees physical opening of the contacts and allows operations to be performed on the downstream circuit in complete safety.
